About

I am a software engineer, working primarily on satellite operating systems for NASA. Most recently I was the Principal Software Lead (PSL) for NASA’s LCROSS satellite that found water on the moon in 2009.

I do public speaking for educational and civic groups on such diverse topics as science, space technology, software engineering, the past and future of space, and I have a talk called “The physics of Rock and Roll” which can be tailored for middle school science classes through college level hardware and software engineering.

Additionally I own and run UnTied Music, a recording and publishing company which also serves as a booking agent for me.
